GABRIELLA'S TOMATO SOUP

THE MAKINGS

  • 8-10 Tomatoes, cut in half

  • half white onion, sliced

  • 1 bulb of garlic. slice the top off

  • Olive Oil

  • Salt

  • Red Pepper

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 10 oz chicken bone broth

THE METHOD

  1. Oven at 350. On a sheet pan lined with parchment, place garlic, onion, and tomatoes

  2. Cover with olive oil, salt and red pepper flakes (a little goes a long way)

  3. Roast for 40-50 minutes until caramelized

  4. Squeeze out garlic, blend with tomato & onion

  5. Combine with butter & broth in a pot and let simmer
